Honey Oatmeal Cake is a country favourite. Great at any time of the day, Honey Oatmeal Cake tastes especially good when you've worked up a healthy appetite.
Recipe Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 cups Water (Boiling)
- 1 1/2 cup Honey
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 Large Eggs

How To Make
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, butter and boiling water. Stir well and set aside in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- Add in the honey, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract. Keep stirring until there are no bumps and the mixture is a smooth consistency.
- Pour the mixture into a lightly greased cake tin.
- Place in a preheated oven at 350 F for about 45 minutes to bake.
