Apple Coffee Cake, a lovely way to sit back, relax and enjoy one of life's perks! A couple of dollups of fresh cream and a steaming mug of roasted coffee or brewed tea - simply devine!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 5 cups Apples (Peeled and chopped)
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 Large Eggs

How To Make

  1. Take a large bowl and add in the sugar, butter and eggs. Whish together well.
  2. Combine the floour, salt and baking powder until a creamy consistency. Then stir in the vanilla extract and add the apples.
  3. Place the whole mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle generously over the top.
  5. Place in a preheated oven at 350 F for about three quarters of an hour until browned.
