Herb Bread is super duper tasty! We absolutely love it here! Herb Bread is great alongside salads, pasta dishes, chicken, fish or pizza. Packed full of flavour, Herb Bread tastes great and will definitely be a top favourite with guests.
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 cup Wholemeal Flour
- 1/3 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/3 cup Water (Warmed)
- 1/4 cup Parsley (Chopped)
- 2 tbs Sugar
- 2 tbs Yeast
- 1 tbs Olive Oil
- 1 tbs Thyme (Chopped)
- 1 tbs Chives (Chopped)
- 1 tbs Oregano (Chopped)
- 1 tbs Rosemary (Chopped)
- 1/2 tbs Black Pepper (Ground)
- 1/2 tbs Sea Salt (Crushed)

How To Make
- Take a bowl and mix the water, salt and yeast together. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Sift the flour into another bowl. Add the herbs, then make a well in the middle.
- Now add the yeast mixture, along with the lukewarm water and the olive oil. Mix until a crumbly consistency.
- Take the mixture out of the bowl and place on a floured rolling board, where you should knead for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover and allow to rise in a wamr place for about an hour.
- Take the dough out of the bowl and knead again for a couple of minutes until flattened into a 1/2 inch deep square.
- Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
- Roll the square up, like you would with a Swiss roll.
- Place in a preheated oven at 350 F for about half an hour, or until baked.
