This Chilli Cheese Bread recipe is a slant on the traditional cheese bread recipe. Like the original, it is quick and easy to make. The chilli flavour gives it a nice edge, a perfect side order with a pasta dish. It is a great way to add life and colour to a meal. Try it out with spicey wedges for a real taste sensation.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cheese (Feta, Mozzarrella, Cheddar)
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Chillis (Chopped - Red / Green / Halapeno)
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 1 Baguette

How To Make

  1. In a bowl, combine the cheese, chillis, sweet chilli sauce and mayonnaise thoroughly.
  2. Cut the baguette in half with a sharp knife.
  3. Now spread out the mixture fairly evenly on top of the bread.
  4. Place in a preheated oven at 350 F for about 20 minutes, or until baked.
  5. Slice into large pieces and serve.
  6. You could sprinkle with olive oil and bay leaves if desired.
