Beer Bread makes a terrific tasty accompaniment with a wholesome meal. It is ideal with stews and red meat dished. You can choose any beer you want for this Beer Bread recipe, we like to use Guinness or Caffreys!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 can Beer (Large)

How To Make

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
  2. Make a well in the middle and pour in the beer. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Place on a lightly floured rolling board and knead for a few minutes until thinkened.
  4. Put the dough in a lightly greased loaf pan and set aside in a warm place. Let dough rise until at the top rim of the pan.
  5. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 400 F for roughly an hour.
